Initially the grad student, filled with naivety of book smarts, learns the true meaning behind ‘the fear of death’ when she accepts, the only person who can save us, is ourselves.
List of scenes
- Inciting incident reading : A philosophy student has a shocking revelation based on a reading done in class by a very eccentric yuppie type practioner the professor invited for lecture. Protagonist finishes pitch deck for P.I.X.I.E and secures funding, without losing valuation.
- The Clue Finding Spread : The professor is intimidated by the use of ai. Arranges for a deck tainted by the antagonist to lead the protagonist down into the world of a dark empath to embrace dark psychology for the restoration of the coven.
- The Misinterpreted Card (Warning) : The card appears to be the Hermit when in fact it’s the Alone card
- The Darkest Hour : The protagonist becomes trapped within the spell (VR) of the misinterpreted card. In the real world, the antagonist is in a medically induced coma due to an unexpected power surge in the lab on campus while coding.
- The Climax : The protagonist is led to the true meaning of the Hermit (isolated in search of a truth), the Star (hope when things look bleak) and the Magician (illusion vs reality) freeing her from the corresponding Alone card
- The Resolution : Restoration of the coven and the intended artworks in the completed game. The Diary of Death’s daughter
During the course of researching for this #nanowrimo exercise, I found a reason to keep further development of this project OFFLINE. But I wanted to make sure you saw evidence of what could be considered a treatment of my story.

When the King’s threats reach Earth, Xander and his mother must find a way to deal with an impossible situation.
